I realize people are wanting pictures, but I am terrible at getting them put on here, thus why I haven't even updated my blog. I fiqured pictures or not, I will update you all and add the pictures when I get some recent ones taken.
I just went in for my 34 week check up and I told the doctor I was feeling really different and feeling a lot of pressure. So she decided to check me and see what is going on. When I first found out I was pregnant I had a different due date then the doctors. But they went off the due date based on my ultrasound. Being that it was a first trimester ultrasound they are usually only off by a week or so. But I was convinced my due date is the 2nd of April, not the 15th. So when she checked me she is positive I will be having this baby before my due date. Your cervix is made up an internal and external cervix. When she checked me, my cervix external is completely open, so she could go right through. But the internal is still closed, which is great because I don't need to be dilated this soon and have a baby 5 weeks early. This means that I should deliver with in the next month or so, and not 6 weeks. As my doctor stated, right now I am a ripe banana! I'm not green anymore and I'm not quite rotten!!!! She's hilarious. So that's the scoop.
At my 32 week check up, my doctor was very proud of my weight gain to date. At this appointment I was at 14 pound weight gain, not to bad for being 8 months a long. And from my 28 wk to 32 wk is when I gained the most- 6 pounds!! So up until then I had only gained 8 pounds by my seventh month. From my 32 wk to 34 wk, I gained additional 5 pounds. I'm really packing them on now.
From what the majority of people are telling me they could start to tell I was pregnant by my 7 month, which I was thankful to finally have something to show and quit explaning why I haven't been showing or gaining weight. I suppose being sick the first 7 months really helps though.
I am so thankful I have gone almost 5 weeks with no puking episodes. I really wanted that to be over for me.
As off now, baby is still potentially breech, the doctor won't attempt to manually turn till after I am 36 weeks along. Mean while I am doing head stands and ways to try and turn this baby, I really dont want a c-section. So that is the newest news I have and hopefully it will answer all your requests.
Thanks
Sarah
